Caroline Curwen qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand in 1997, specialising in corporate tax. Her portfolio included small and large groups of companies in the manufacturing, media, retail, and leasing industries. Caroline also gained international tax experience from clients with US and Dutch holding companies. After qualification Caroline Curwen joined Deloitte & Touche as a corporation tax manager. In addition to managing large groups of companies, she gained experience with middle market companies and owner managed businesses. Following a short career break to care for her first child, Caroline joined the Corporation Tax Compliance Centre at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 2000, where she held a position as a Corporate Tax Manager until March 2004.
